Lucozade through its annual Blood Drive has made high school students aware of the importance of giving blood. Lucozade values the support of these students and not only educates on blood donation, but also strives to impact the students’ personal growth through guest appearances from local celebrities, such as reigning and past beauty queens and entertainers. Students are given the opportunity to interact with these individuals, receiving motivation, tips and insight into their journey as successful entrepreneurs and professionals. Metropolitan Opera | In Cinemas: The Met: Live in HD, the Met’s award-winning series of live transmissions to movie theaters and performing arts centers around the world, has expanded its worldwide distribution to more than 2000 theaters in 70 countries including Jamaica. The Met: Live in HD is transmitted directly from the Met in NY to audiences at Carib 5 in Cross Roads, Kingston.
The Met: Live in HD 2016-17 Live HD Summer Encores – COMING SOON. Audiences won’t want to miss the opportunity to experience these exciting performances captured live from the stage of the celebrated Met Opera in New York City. The Met Summer Encore series is shown at Palace Cineplex in Liguanea, Kingston.
NT Live is the National Theatre’s groundbreaking initiative to broadcast theatre live from the stage to cinemas around the world. Each performance is captured and broadcast live (or ‘as live’, depending on location) via satellite to over 2000 venues in more than 40 countries. The success of NT Live, which shows productions from the Donmar and the West End as well as the NT, has created more interest in going to the Theatre. Encore broadcast of NT Live productions are show at Palace Cineplex in Liguanea, Kingston.
The Australian Ballet In Cinemas marks the newest addition to Palace Amusement’s extensive Alternative Content offering, broadcasting their 2017 encore season at Palace Cineplex, beginning February 19, 2017, with the fairy tale classic, The Sleeping Beauty.
