THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS is on track to gross $1.5M in 58 territories this weekend and raise the international total to $1.004 Billion. It is the 6th highest grossing film of all time internationally and only the 6th film to cross $1 Billion internationally with Ava-tar $2 Billion, Titanic $1.5 Billion, Furious 7 $1.165 Billion, Star Wars: The Force Awakens $1.131 Billion and Jurassic World $1.019 Billion.

  • Combined with the U.S. and Canada’s estimated total of $223.8M, the worldwide total is $1.228 Billion. The Fate of the Furious is the 11th highest grossing film of all time worldwide.
  • Japan is the top holdover at No. 3 in week 6 with $490k for a total of $34.3M. It is the highest grossing of all the FAST & FURI-OUS films in Japan.
  • In China, the film has grossed $387.7M (2.7B RMB). It is the highest grossing foreign film of all time in China. Furious 7 is the second highest with 2.427B RMB.
  • The other top grossing territories are: Brazil $41.8M (4th highest grossing film of all time); U.K. and Ireland $37.5M; Mexico $36.3M; Germany $32.2M; France $29.3M; Russia $29.1M; Korea $27M; Middle East $22.3M; Australia $21.4M; Taiwan $21.4M; Argentina $20.7M; India $19.8M; Indonesia $19.3M; Italy $15.8M; Spain $14.4M; Colombia $12.7M; Malaysia $12.2M and Panama and Central America $11.5M.

THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS opened on the Palace Amusement cinema circuit in Jamaica on April 12, 2017 and is still running. Fans will have an opportunity to be among viewers worldwide who will this weekend fuel the iconic film, the eighth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise to its Billion Dollar mark.
