Coco  – opens November 29 at Palace Amusement cinemas.

Coco showcases the odyssey of a gifted musician in a family that forbids music. Miguel Rivera (Anthony Gonzalez) is a 12-year-old boy in Mexico, whose greatest desire in life is to be a musician like his idol, the mid-century legend Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). Unfortunately, Miguel’s great-great-grandmother was abandoned by her musician husband, and the Rivera family has enforced a strict ban on music ever since.  His determination to pursue music leads him to a colorful Land of the Dead, where he unlocks the real story behind his family history.

This musical fantasy is produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The screenplay is penned by Adrian Molina and Matthew Aldrich. The film is directed by Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina and stars Anthony Gonzalez, Benjamin Bratt, Golden Globe Award® winners Gael García Bernal and Edward James Olmos. Other cast members include: Alanna Ubach and Renée Victor.
